i read aurelius’ meditations,
but afterward i forgot to meditate on what he said,
so i promptly lost my sense of zen from reading the book in the first place,
though then again, it wasn’t in its original latin because
i didn’t do too well on my latin exam in college,
in fact, i cheated my way to a c-
i can’t hear the background music i’m playing,
because a coworker is playing their own background music,
and it’s drowning out what i’m listening to,
what’s more,
i forgot to bring my earbuds into work,
so i suppose i’ll just listen to what my coworker likes to listen to,
thankfully, it’s not bad,
not bad at all
charlie chaplin came in 3rd
in a charlie chaplin look-alike competition,
though i don’t think i would have even placed,
since i don’t look a lick alike to señor chaplin
