i’ve been trying to figure out when the best time
for poetry in a day is,
like the best time to write poetry,
and then the best time to read poetry,
but i can’t seem to reach a conclusive
part of the day, so i suppose poetry is just random,
though it kinda seems lazy to say
i forgot to write something clever,
so in haste,
i came up with this lame excuse for a poem,
and hopefully it will help me pass
my imaginary quota to feel productive
i make sure that every poem i write
is less than a 100 words,
lest google thinks i’m trying too hard,
perhaps even judging me too harshly,
as it’s wont to do
