Tag: ocean

big, blue

falling ill in the back of a van
heading out west,
far-far-west,
towards the ocean where the jellyfish sting
and that starfish sings
something about living
under a big, blue blanket,
all while living in a big, blue tub

They Came from the Ocean…

the ocean at night; breathtaking spectacle
lost breath
fills with wonder
the waves thunder against the shore,
frothy crests illuminated by the moon’s watchful glow
water reflection, a shimmering, an iridescent path that leads to the unknown

gazing upwards, distant beacons,
casting a faint light over the sea
constellations above are like stories woven into the sky, each one telling a tale of gods and heroes

the sounds of the sea are a symphony of harmonious melodies,
a soothing lullaby that lulls
listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore,
the call of the seabirds overhead,
and the occasional splash of a fish breaking the surface

wishful at night
in a magical place, where the mysteries of the sea come alive
reverence taking hold
as creatures from the depths below begin to surface

Holding Back Wandering Desires

amidst the vastness of space//a wanderer roams// seeking joy//pleasant melodies//and a place without so many bodies; with each step// a new world unfolds//filled with surreal vistas that stir the soul//drum//beat//strum//flow

through diamond fields of dreams and desire treads the unconquerable spirit soaring higher with every passing moment//tick//mountains shift and oceans roar//navigate through the wonders that lay before//unlocking hidden doors that have long been forgotten

a light shines within//a flame that flickers but never fades//blue flame burns with a fierce passion//igniting singular moments into a thousand//million//billion//atoms floating off into the ether//safe travels//uncover a truth that surpasses comprehension//envision life// pure and unadulterated

magic reigns supreme in these lands of fantasy//unknown//dreams become their own//so wander//continues on//past//flea with emboldened steps//the journey’s long but peace of mind remains short lived
