i have this story in my head
and it sounds all original and interesting,
but then i go to write it, and i discover that i no longer have fingers to type,
and then my eyesight slowly starts to fade until all
i see is blurred squiggles dancing on a screen,
laughing at how i can’t finish a thought,
so i might as well go play mario kart
i tried to watch house of dragons,
but i got really bored and didn’t have any more edibles
to make the show interesting,
so i canceled my hbo subscription
and went back to playing mario kart
with the hope that all the streaming services would leave me alone,
but they didn’t catch the hint
i got really into gambling,
you know, for the rush of it,
but it always seems to be for the dumbest of reasons;
take last week for example,
when i put some money down
on a mario kart game that my 12 year old niece
was playing against her friend,
and at the end i was down 5k,
so now my niece isn’t getting a birthday present, i guess
