in the walls

something died in the walls of our house,
but i don’t know what it was
because i’m not superman, so i can’t see through walls,
so i’m probably going to have to punch a hole through the wall to find out,
and then probably youtube how to patch up the drywall 
after the fact,
but all i can say is i hope it’s no damn raven
squawking about the nameless evermore
