write this down for me

i lost the notepad that i was using to write down
random thoughts and ideas that sounded good,
you know, for poems and business and things i might
tell my wife cause she might think they’re funny,
so now i’m kinda bummed,
i guess i’ll have to write all these ideas 
on my arm,
which will mean i need to work out more,
you know, to get bigger arms
