climbed a volcano,
but because it was dormant
it didn’t fight me to be noticed,
but i’m fairly certain it w a s looking to erupt
at any moment, you know,
just to show me who was boss

i declare…

i lost a thumb war with my nephew,
but rather than take it in stride and be a humble loser,
i kicked my nephew in the shins,
so that’s why i’m no longer allowed to babysit

lunch

i put the wrong person’s lunch into my lunchbox today,
but i don’t know whose it is,
because i don’t live with anyone else,
so i guess i’ll claim it as mine, either way
