my new neighbors got a ferret
that got out the other night,
and i know that because my cat caught with the ferret,
and now i’m staring at the carcass of my neighbor’s ferret
wondering what gift wrap i should use to wrap the ferret in
to give it a proper sendoff into the next life
i got really into gambling,
you know, for the rush of it,
but it always seems to be for the dumbest of reasons;
take last week for example,
when i put some money down
on a mario kart game that my 12 year old niece
was playing against her friend,
and at the end i was down 5k,
so now my niece isn’t getting a birthday present, i guess
i ate something that i probably shouldn’t have,
but i’m not too worried
because if i need to
i could always just listen to a podcast
until i started feeling queasy and just upchuck
whatever it was i shouldn’t have eaten
