Fred Aiken Writing

hiding in my corner of the internet
looks like i’m not dealing with my problems,
or at least that’s what my therapist would say,
if i had one,
but i like to think that my thoughts give me 
self-improving advice to handle destructive ideas
meant to look harmless,
but, like swallowed broken glass from candy,
not all voices are meant to be heard,
or come across as enjoyable
